Lavina Wines sourced and vinified this Shiraz from select vineyards planted in the McLaren Vale’s world renowned ‘terroir’. The 2015 vintage producing grapes with fantastic colour and concentration of flavour which is reflected in the finished wine. Dark garnet with a bright purple hue colour.  Lifted aromas of black pepper, cigar box and ripe berry fruits with hints of sage, soft white pepper and caraway seed.  The palate is complex and fleshy with a delicious blend of mulberries, blackberries and ripe plums. Nuances of Asian fivespice, dark chocolate and white pepper complement the savoury French oak and soft natural acids. The finish is soft and subtle with fine lingering smooth tannins.
 
Matured in French oak, this wine can be enjoyed now, or will age gracefully for 5+ years. Decanting is recommended to enhance the complexity of the wine.
