A modern, fruit driven blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc, sourced from the Bécot family’s three Right bank properties: Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, Château La Gomerie and Château Joanin. L’Instant is characterised by bright, ripe black fruit aromas, supple tannins and – in keeping with the ’14 vintage – fresh acidity. Drink 2016 to 2019.
 
Very well balanced, we found. Lovely ripe fruit flavours (plums and blackcurrant) with a refreshing finish. Juicy, but in no way overblown. I enjoy the equilibrium here. It's an 'Atlantic' style of wine, the kind I imagine served with those beautifully described meals in Hemingway's books. 
 
This is a great wine for a dinner party if you want to impress. It was delicious and very easy to drink without any sharp taste 
 
Very smooth fruit forward Bordeaux. Easy to drink and matched well with roast beef.
